Bf863 is primary / course filter don't see anything of concern
The bf862 is the secondary / fine filter 7 micron.
I have concerns on this one.
Both have the nicest formed louvers I've ever seen, these are my first experience with Baldwin.

Pleats are not very uniform, but my concern is how the filter adapter ring seals against the baseplate. The gasket wasn't uniform and pushed to one side. The ring is just hard thermoplastic. The use case for this filter, it gets installed with threaded base facing down. It's mounted directly to engine so it's vibrating a lot.
The system is only gravity fed, and injection pump built in suction pump.
Anyone think this is a concern?

Of course you didn't know until it was cut. Otherwise, looks okay.

Injection pump was rebuilt when filters where removed.
Asked rebuilder if there was any contamination, he didn't see anything.
Other then the no consistent pleats it's good I guess.
