Baldwin B7443 cut & post

Baldwin B7443 off 2016 Ram 1500 5.7L. Ran for 8411 miles on this last change. Looked to have held up pretty well. Pleats looked good, no issues I could see. Nice coil spring, pretty happy with it. Switched to these recently after seeing Wix cutting corners on perceived quality features to save a buck. Used my new filter cutter I got of eBay.

Seems like a lot of companies put their name on that cutter. Several on Amazon look to be identical. I got mine from Jegs.

Another new Baldwin went on, I think got these from Zoro.com at the time for $5 each. They had some shipping deal at the time that if bought enough stuff it all shipped for $5 so I grabbed a couple for the shelf among a few other filters.

Baldwin makes good stuff! FYI, Advance Auto Parts sells Baldwin as a ”Carquest Premium HD” for some applications too-I have a couple 84060HD filters on deck for the Express 6.0 in my sig.

There a good constructed filter the filtering specs are very subpar.

I've used this exact filter a few times! Nice C&P I order them from ZORO!

Baldwin makes a tough filter, but the efficiency isn't the greatest. They hold up well, though. Their HPG and MPG filters are better, the B ones are basically rock catchers (75% @ 24 microns).
