Looks to be filled solid. Has some dents on the edges, possibly from being tossed over a cliff.
Found at the base of a 75' cliff.

dad buried an old water softener cylinder back by our burn pit, and that kinda reminds me of the parts where the case has poked back through the soil/ soil eroded away..

It might be a strainer to put on the bottom of a pipe at the bottom of a well.

It looks like a washing machine inner drum. The holes allow water to leave the clothes during the spin cycle. You're only seeing a small part of it.

Dug it out of the ground. Looks to be an International part, maybe exhaust?
