baby oil for dashboards?!?

Hi,

I like to put some cleaner/protectant/shine onto my dashboards. Ive not usuall used armor all (though I tried the new gel on the already cracked dash of my fiancee's 94 integra). 303 protectant leaves a terrible haze on the interior glass that I have a very hard time getting off...

Ive recently read that baby oil is the best stuff to use on a dash.. does anyone else do this? how well does it work?

No experience with baby oil; sorry.

BUT: try Einszett Tiefenpfleger, German made; best product I ever used; it makes the dash of my 97 tbird look like new, without any mess/haze.

Their anti-ferret spray works great.

After the baby oil application, I suggest a dusting with baby butt powder.

That's odd, I've never noticed that problem. Are you buffing off the 303 thoroughly?

been using 303 for years and alot of times i get it on the glass micr-fibre cloths wipes it right off.....baby oils tend to be drying on plastic and are not uv protectants...stick with 303..

Yourte right, Im wrong... my idea of 'buffing was light drying... not enough.

I just got an excellent and very professional response from 303 regarding surface interaction and thenecessity for buffing and working the product into the materials to maximize protection.

Baby oil? I would think that would catch every little piece of dust and dirt that passed by. Not in my truck!

Not only that,I would thiink it would magnify the sun's rays causing cracking and fading.
Some people use baby oil to get a suntan!

I can't say enough good things about the customer service at 303. When i had "problems" last year with 303 on my tires, a very nice man spent a long time on the phone with me going over 303 itself, how to properly apply it to various parts on your car, troubleshooting in case you get windshield fog.. Great company and a great product.
