Baby it’s hot outside

It was 67F this morning in WV where I live but it might as well have been 90. The Humidity is horrible and shocked me as I took the pups out this morning.

Am I overreacting this year or are temps really hotter this summer than they have been in years past?

It's been a while since we have had an an entrenched Bermuda high during summer. This usally makes it miserable in Central Illinois. And the rain is usually up in Wisconsin. But this year we have the stationary front laying right across my area. So sometimes it's rain and then it gets hot.

But the last two years have been droughtish so I'll take the rain. Worked a couple hours till noon spraying weeds and then threw in the towel. 88F and 83% humidity.

94 here today but quite humid, so quite uncomfortable.
I worked up a good sweat just taking the garbage out to the curb just now.
Needless to say, we'll blast the AC overnight and I did the same driving home from work.

Looks like today is the end of the hot and humid and retuning to pleasant summer climes 80s to 60s.. No rain to speak of though.

It's too humid 🥵
These long sleeves/work pants are gonna be the death of me

78° with low humidity and a light breeze is superb
Cloudy humid 81° will take your breath away
Heat Island effect in certain areas feels like an instant +10°

95 right now and quite humid.
It is forecast to get much cooler and drier over the next few days.

I just spent a month at Cannon AFB NM near the town of Clovis....Many days were in the upper 90s to around 100. The humidity was around 10 percent...It actually felt good outside.. Come back to Louisville KY and temps are in the mid 90s with the humidity in the 60 to 70 percent range...You feel that heat along with sweating alot.. I will take the NM heat over the KY heat and humidity..
