B-12 Chemtool C C Vs Total Fuel System Clean-Up

First post and first question. My truck just turned 190,000 miles. I had a missing spark plug code which cleared up after using Duralube fuel treatment. http://duralube.com/
I didn't use additives before but I now think I need to use some.

I just used Berryman® B-12 Chemtool® Total Combustion Cleaning Kit

I got a lot of smoke out the tail pipe as soon as I started the process.

Question : Can I use Berryman® B-12 Chemtool® Total Fuel System Clean-Up as I did the Kit - through a vacuum tube or must I use the kit fluid?

I plan on using the Fuel system clean-up in the gas tank also.
