Avoid this crap. I love the Rapid Shine but this stuff smells and acts just like Rain-X. It streaks and darkens the areas that you apply. Pure garbage. I posted a video but it is too large a file.

Could you have applied too much?

Did you apply to a cool surface?

For such a strong response I'd expect others to have had a similar experience. I haven't heard of lots of feed back on this product.

Could it have been used error?

I've been told that preparation of the surface before applying any ceramic is the key. If it's streaky it'll stay streaky (more or less) forever. A shop that applies the stuff showed me a blue car that another shop hadn't prepared properly. It was pretty awful.

Never used the Ceramic Spray but it has been tested and performed well even after multiple washings. I have used gNu Finish many times and for an inexpensive, easy to use polish it does ok. It has an 'earthy' aroma and stands up to weather.

I applied it according to directions on bottle. I used it on my wife's white car which you can't see the streaks. Used it on my maroon Ford and boy are they there. I had a bottle of Rain-X handy and I compared them and they smell exactly the same I sprayed them both on the back glass and they acted the same. The Turtle Wax ceramic spray is much better. It doesn't have the greasy, smearing property that Rain-X and the NuFinish ceramic have. Yes, the surface was warm but the instructions on the bottle say surface temperature doesn't matter. I'll stick with the Turtle Wax. Like I said I love the rapid shine and I love the original NuFinish. Just a heads up warning!

OT:Ya, the bonus is gNu finish is free and if you use it you have to let your friends use it for free also; herein ends my super esoteric computer licensing reference.

Maybe up load the file to youtube? I'm curious

I am old school and don't spray anything on my paint.

I used it and it was pretty difficult to get good results with. I have also used CMX and TW sealers with better results from easier application. Maybe I wasn't doing something right with the NuFinish.

All in all, I prefer TW Seal & Shine, TW Wax as you Dry, TW Ice, and Lucus Spray Wax mist.

When the surface is warm you have to move quick on these products. Apply sparingly and cover a small area then move on.

It sounds like a combination of things led to poor results. I have no experience with the orange bottle but even with the better rated products the same application rules apply.

That may have been the issue with my use. It was a hot, sunny day. But even though i was shaded by a tree, some rays made it through.

TW Seal n Shine, and TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Wax are around the same price point. No need to re-invent the wheel. They have the sleeper market at least for now.........

NuFinish sprays at least are just white labeled products. There’s no reason to buy them other than if you like an 80s/90s brand.

I have a white Ford truck and a silver Mitsubishi, and have used most everything out there. I’ve found some better, and some worse products.
NuFinish spray is all I use now.
