I bought a new battery just before the new year, and made sure he grabbed the 10/10 battery, not the 7/10 battery. It's an AGM battery, but I figured the newer the better.
I am charging it on 2 amps as that is how fast (slow?) my one setting auto charger charges. I did try to turn the car over as i was going to show my boss my car but no it wouldnt turn and i was thinking "i knew it they sid ti was fully charged it just sat there and never saw a charger, im stupid."
I didnt ask them about pennzoil lol
And it cost $55 so thats why i bought it it was "on clearance"
I did add distilled water as the cells were LOW i opened up the caps. the cells seemed to be submerged in water but it gets hot out here so i filled it up to about half an inch below the caps bottom of the vent holes and then it got a good shaking getting to my home as i walked it i had a wheeled cart and that mixed it up, and then i tried unsuccessfully to start the car for a few seconds and now its on 2 amp auto charge, one day? two days? until the light turns green? then im having it load-tested if it fails the load-test im getting my $ back.
because
IF YOU CHARGE THE BATTERY YOU WILL MESS IT UP
as i said, im broke now and im out of money for about a month thats why im playing this battery game. if it charged up it just might pass the load test too! having benefitted from my proper addition of distilled water, turned electrolyte
