AutoRx, Synthetic Oil and seal leaks

I said Auto-Rx cleans both sides of the seal material (there both bathed in oil) the post has been about a seal that leaks and I answered this.

Tempest your talking about a seal with no problems and an engine using synthetic oil. Auto-Rx keeps the seals conditioned when engine runs synthetic oil.

If your talking about the seal mating surfaces that are in contact with the metal parts...I'll go along with that. "Both sides" can be construed as "inside and outside". Just a misunderstanding of meaning.

I see where you are coming from. What is the ingredient in dino that is not in syn that makes the difference?
