Only hand washes for my Lex. The only time I take it through a car wash, is If I need to get the salt off immediately, and it'll be a touch-less wash, no brushes and what not to worry about.
They do also have a drive up detail service, and have been through that, they did a good job for $8 - about 6 guys/girls jump right up, scrub down the wheels/tires with polish of some sort, spray down the windows, inside and out....and you're off. All done by hand. But yea, they don't touch the body at all. Just windows and tires.
I need to open one of those places. Cha-ching!!!

I run mine through, Its just a car like any other. Plus it`s getting old now, so who cares.
Although, I asked them NOT to run it through the wash at Thompson. Their wash always starts to pull off my passenger side door molding for some reason. Was driving home from their one time, and I kept hearing this flapping sound. So I pulled over to find out what it was and saw the molding peeling back/coming loose.
