Auto RX

And certainly, those edifices erected utilizing the Roman and Greek orders of architecture, utilized the highest quality of raw material around; hence, they have survived the passage of time.

I saw what you did……….

So mote it be……..

I have read every post. In terms of Roman construction of roads, the fact their roads have withstood time is because they developed a stable multilayer foundational system to support the top layer. It had nothing to do with the concrete mix.

I never stated that the Rislone VOA proves anything. In fact, a VOA proves nothing with respect to performance.

I have used both and found HPL Engine Cleaner does a better job at softening and "solving" carbon.

Whatever product you decide to use, it is a good idea to change filters at half your nominal OCI.

And we can’t develop “a stable multilayer foundational system to support the top layer?”

Then again, there likely is a slight difference between a road full of Roman chariots and a highway full of Freightliners and Volvo tractor trailers………..

I just purchased some Auto-RX Plus from Amazon.

I read a couple of times on old threads (more than a decade old) on different forums that Auto-RX was very thick and many folks were warming the bottle up before pouring.

The liquid in the bottles I just received can be shaken in the bottle very easily.

Did the formula change at some point and the Auto-RX Plus is now thinner? If not, I may have purchased some "bootleg" stuff from Amazon.

I wouldn’t put it in my lawn mower.

Yes it changed years back. Does not thicken up when cold.

Auto RX now has the plus. Which does not seem to thicken up. They probably got sick of people bemoaning having to warm it. It was a pain.......I might try some of the HPL Engine Cleaner at some point.

The Rislone product is a good cleaner but it's formula has not changed in years.

I believe HPL's EC is better because of the latest application of technology as it contains not only a specific ester mix, but an HD DI additive package.
And I like knowing EC is either a 30 or 40 mono @ 20% …

I have used ARX in the past and actually had a very good experience. (stuck rings were liberated by ARX; documented here on the site more than a decade ago). I have a bottle left which I am going to use in my recently-acquired 2013 ES350 (replacement car for my wife). After that I will likely move to using HPL Engine Cleaner 30 where needed.
If you used a product and had a very good experience with it, why would you go with another product? It looks like the product that you used is still available. This is just me, but if I used a product that liberated stuck rings like you have stated, I would not even think about using another product.
