Auto-Rx Trans Application

Hello,
Was hoping I could get the correct auto-rx transmission procedure for my application. I drive a 1998 1/2 Ton Chevrolet Truck that has 85,000 miles with a 4l-60e. The current fill of transmission fluid is Valvoline Maxlife ATF. Was thinking I should go by the auto-rx procedures for a transmission with additives? Add 6oz. Drive 1500 miles. Flush with non-syn. Add 3oz. Drive 1500 miles. Flush again.

Do it and switch to a different fluid. I'm completely unimpressed with Maxlife ATF, I find Chevron much better.

Of course I am talking about any transmission fluid, also lets call a spade a spade in my opinion less than 2% of Auto-Rx users have the skills to clean there transmission correctly. Item they never get torque converter unit clean and end up with 3/4 clean transmission fluid and 1/4 of dirty contaminated fluid from torque converter. Now come the post and e-mails saying Auto-Rx did not perform. Use T-Tec it won't blow out your seals thats utter nonsense it cleans all safely and refills with clean fluid no need for any additives just drive on. REMEMBER 6 OUNCES OF AUTO-RX IS ALL TO USE IN ANY TRANSMISSION.

Pretty simple add the six ounces and drive. I use the pan drain method myself. Change out 5 quarts or so at a time, 4 times. I start the first drain at 1500 miles and dump the pan 3 more times about 500 or so miles appart. Works well for me.

I run a 3oz. maintenance dose in the engine oil. Do you recommend to run a small dose in the transmission all the time, or only add just before a full flush?

What I was asking was if I should follow the procedure for a transmission fluid that has additional additives added to it because of the Maxlife ATF. I heard it was bad for the clutch packs and didn't know if it would need the second 3oz. dose and flush again.

The fluids going to be flushed completely. I work at a Kwik Kar part time after school and I'll be using the Wynn's transmission flush machine. Same as a t-tec but you can add up to about 50 quarts of fluid to flush with and you don't have to worry about getting the lines backwards.

I would like to know if I should add the 3oz. dose after the first flush and then drive another 1500 miles before flushing again, just as it says to do on the website if you have added additives to your transmisson fluid.
