Well, after finally getting through my rinse cycle and changing my oil, my oil leak is 95% gone. There was a MAJOR decrease in the amount of oil waiting for me on the side of my oil pan. (To be clear, my car was not leaving puddles or losing oil by leaking it before the Auto-Rx treatment. It would just collect enough on the side of the pan to be visible and collect dust. I would say the rear-main seal was in the process of starting to develop a minor/normal oil leak.) I cleaned with SuperTech 5w20 and rinsed with SuperTech 5w20 for 1,500 miles and then changed to Castrol GTX 5w20 for 3,000 miles. Well, I just drained the Castrol out in favor of my $10/5 quart jugs of Pennzoil 5w20 I stashed when China-Mart increased their oil prices several weeks back. I will check again in 3-4,000 miles to see if it is completely gone.

Thank you Frank and Auto-Rx, you have made me a believer! My second bottle went into my 2001 F150 w/ 5.4 a few weeks ago. It was neglected in it's past life.

Groucho-

it's not that a lot of people won't believe this, it's more like:" a lot of people chose not to believe in this..."

Q.

Auto-Rx Works if You Work It. I see so many individuals post about there application of Auto-Rx (and thats just what it is) here is a guy who followed the application instructions and got results.

We have reformatted those applications 3 times to make them easier to follow, so when somebody does not use Auto-Rx as it is supposed
to be used. The results are predictable.

Yep. I don't know what is so hard to follow. You buy it, change your oil and you pour it in, your drive, you drive some more, you drain and add fresh oil/filter and drive some more and then drain it again and add fresh oil/filter again.

What is so hard to comprehend?

I had a friend that owned an independent auto parts store in the late 70's. He had a sign telling of his store policies in terms of returns (time limits - electrical - etc). No one read it. Then he started suspending more and more attachments to the sign at the counter ...all with arrows that were captioned "READ THIS SIGN". Eventually he (basically) had a very narrow channel that would allow the part/cash exchange. If he went any further, he would be poking his head through a sign so that the customer could even see him.

They still didn't read the sign(s).

That's about it, Groucho. Not much more complicated.

ARX worked exceedingly well in almost eliminating a rear main leak in my 68 Pontiac. I don't see anything questionable about the success in the Taurus.

LOL-I am happy as can be and just posting some facts on these engines since I also have one.

I think that Auto Rx has helped reduce oil leakage in my 93 Trooper. For the longest time oil would leak past the valve cover gaskets and spill into the middle of engine under the throttle body. I used Amsoil's engine degreaser (the best I've ever used, btw), and I've not seen any oil leakage in that center area since I started my second dose of ARX.

The engine is running very quietly now, and has a lot more bottom end torque than it used to. No scientific tests here, just driving the thing, and it's got torque on demand now, whereas before the bottom end was empty of power and torque.

The Trooper has a nice refined feel to it now that the engine is getting cleaned up.

-BUMP for update-

I had my car up in the air the other day and there was not a drop of oil to be seen.

My leak is now 100% fixed.

I have 3 more bottles on the way to start a maintenance program and to rinse my transmission in 7,000 miles for it's second flushing.
