auto-rx now or change oil first

alright, well ive got like 700 miles on my oil since i changed it last. i went with 2.5 qts of delo 400 and 2.5 qts of M1 10w30. i had to add a quart of oil last week and the only thing i had was the delo. im just wondering if its necessary to change the oil since there is still some M1 in there before i do auto rx or is there not enough for it to really make a difference. also, do you think i really need to change the filter or will i be alright until the rinse cycle. its a 5.0 mustang with 204k miles on it. i just dont know how much longer i can wait to put this stuff in the motor

You should be fine! One thing to rember though is that while you can use a synthetic for the cleaning it does take longer sometimes twice as long.

It is impartive that you only use dino for the rinse phase!

well after the first day the car hasnt blown up and it hasnt done anything that i can notice...but i only drove it a total of like 8 miles. haha, ill keep yall posted and ill take some pics of the filter after i change it for the rinse phase and after the rinse phase

Just be patient. Most of us get anxious and want to break out of the directions and do something radical to prove we are accomplishing something. Just note the mileage to dump/rinse and drive....

yeah i know...i just never really realized how little i actually drive until today when i noticed that i only work 2 miles from my house....and thats really the only driving i do aside from the once a month of so 100 mile trip i make back to raleigh
