Auto-Rx - I'm in!

Alright, I changed the oil today. She's a 1989 Mazda MX-6 GT (turbo motor, F2T) with 194K (on the original clutch too!). I'm the original owner. She's always run great, unbelievably dependable. The only non-synthetic she ever had before today was what Mazda put in there. But for several years I lived very close to work (3 miles) so those were some hard years on her. So now she has Delo 400 15w40 and a bottle of Auto-Rx, with an oversized filter (Purolator L20253, originally for the Corvette ZR-1 engine) to catch all the gunk. Here's hoping for a good cleaning! I'm planning to use the Seal Rejuvenation regimen (dino in both cleansing cycles as well as the rinse cycles), but I do plan to return to synthetic once this is over. I'm a Mobil 1 guy, usually 15W-50. I did run Syntec for a while, but when I learned that it was cracked I felt misled/cheated, so it was back to Mobil 1.

Anyway, I'll give updates as pertinent throughout the regimen. I'm believing you guys!!!

Hey - yes, I've been on ProbeTalk and MX6.com. I think I actually found this board via MX6.com.

Frank - I'm excited about what your product will do for my car. Our other vehicle is a '03 Honda Odyssey with 19K on it. We just had the transmission recall service done (oil jet pointed at 2nd gear) so I'll be watching this closely also. I want to keep the Honda clean, so I'm thinking of starting the maintenance dose of Rx in that vehicle right now. This is another vehicle that has only had synthetic in it except for what Honda put in there. Do you think I should run a clean/rinse cycle, or would the ongoing maintenance dose be sufficient?

I'm planning to clean up the power steering on my Mazda soon. Just gotta go get some Dexron III to cycle through it.

I should add that I'm especially thankful for any help in keeping the MX-6 happy at least until the Honda is paid for! We can't swing 2 car payments concurrently, so I need another 3 years minimum out of my car.

Have I mentioned that I love my car? It will be a sad, painful day when I eventually do have to say goodbye to her.
