Dino or blended oil's after Auto-Rx is in your engine for 750 miles: change filter and oil. Visual results will be seen within 1500 miles of driving(this does not include sludged up engines which will show results in a few hundred miles). We are discussing dirty, contaminated, third party abrasive engine oil lubricated parts. Dino or blended oil's are 'recommended' for cleansing as they are cost effective and give faster results.

Synthetic oil's after Auto-Rx is in your engine 1500 miles: change filter and oil. Visual results will be seen between 2500 to 3000 miles of driving. Synthetic oil is not cost effective and results take more time.

You would use same oil specs instead of 5-30wt
synthetic "use 5-30wt dino for engine cleaning"
after application is finished go back to 5-30wt
synthetic.Engines first cleaned safely with Auto-Rx will give the owners oil of choice (in your case 5-30wt synthetic ) full oil lubrication of every rotating part in the engine.
Meaning while metal wear can't be repaired by chemistry, the "effects" of that meatal wear will
be altered and positive measurable gain's in oil and engine performance is a reality. Please visit
www.auto-rx.com and follow application instructions.

Frank, I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee with an oil sump of 6 quarts. Is 12 ounces enough for 6 quarts driving 750 miles or should I just drive an additional 250 for a total of 1000 miles with 12 ounces? Also, when it comes time to change the oil after the cleaning(750 or 1000 miles), can I go right back to Amsoil synthetic or do I need to use dino again? If dino again, how long?

Thanks.

Thanks Frank. I haven't begun the AutoRX yet because I have only 2000 miles on my Amsoil right now. This is what I plan on doing at 6K miles with this oil. Tell me if you agree. I have 70K miles on the engine by the way.

-change oil and filter using Castrol GTX dino oil and a Purolator Pure One or Napa Gold oil filter.
-pour in 12 oz. bottle of AutoRX
-drive 1000 miles for cleaning
-change oil and filter using Castrol GTX dino oil and a Purolator Pure One or Napa Gold oil filter again.
-drive 1500 miles for rinse
-AutoRX treatment done so change oil and filter using Amsoil synthetic oil and an Amsoil SDF15(longer) oil filter and continue with regular OCI using synthetic.

Frank,

I noticed in the new instructions on your website, you reduced the "rinse" period in the 2 Dose instructions from 1500 miles to 1000 miles. But a couple of posts above, you verbally give a 1500 mile rinse instruction to jeepzj. Which is correct? I'm about 500 miles into my rinse currently, so this is pertinent info for me.

Thanks,
Tim

Tim, 1500 miles is for users of synthetic oil. jeepzj is currently using Amsoil synthetic and even though he is going to dino for Auto-Rx application he should follow application just like he was using synthetic. Tim, believe you're using Mobil 1 as carrier oil for Auto-Rx? If so, you should go to 1500 also. Please read post on this board today regarding Auto-Rx Dino Blend/Synthetic.

You cleaned using a dino oil correct ? at 750
miles ( a thousand miles if you have to ) change filter and oil, stay with dino one last time for
1500 miles of driving with just dino oil and new filter. If circumstances cause you to miss a 1500
mile oil change, do so when you can. This Auto-Rx application for engines under 100,000 miles is done. You can go back to Amsoil Synthetic suggest
maintenance amount of 3 ounces of Auto-Rx with each oil change, keep benefits of cleaning at high level and maximize your oil performance.
