Alright finally got my 3 bottles of Auto-Rx shipped to Canada with no duties I may add.

The thing is I need to get an emissions test and from past everyone has always said doing an emissions test right after an oil change is always best.

As right now I have an oil consumption issue, about 1 quart between changes with Castrol Syntec.

This past weekend I added about half-3/4 of a quart to top up my Syntec, but I topped off with GTX.

Now my question is I want to do an OIL CHANGE before the emissions test BUT I dont know if doing it with Auto-RX in the crankcase will be a good idea.

Does anyone recommend doing the OIL Change with added auto-rx or without?

Also when adding auto-rx do you just add it on top of your recommend oil amount for changes or subtract it from the total.

All and all my car requires about 4.3L / 4.54 quarts of oil.

Thanks.

Change the oil first(leave room for the Auto-Rx). Do the emission-testing BEFORE you pour in the Auto-Rx, otherwise you will not see what the ARX does, since it starts working when you put it in. After the emission-testing is done, pour in the Auto-Rx.

shoot too late. I didn't even do an oil change yet. I passed emissions with like a mix of castrol gtx and syntec 5w30 thats been in the car for 2200 KM.

I will wait until Saturday I guess to do an oil change with auto-rx or maybe i'll do it now since im bored.

But i need to go buy an oz measuring thing.
