Auto-RX and FP?

Newbie question (probably stupid).

I plan to use Auto-RX as soon as it arrives.
Was also thinking about beginning to use FP.
Any reason I should avoid using FP during my Auto-RX Cleaning & Rinsing?

(The basis for my silly question is based upon the theory I've eard that you should change oil soon after using fuel system cleaners..)

I agree. In fact, in two of my vehicles, I am currently using FP and ARX. The combo seems to do well.

Somewhere around here is a post by Terry Dyson wherein he delineates the difference between LC and ARX, and he ends up with the statement that whichever you decide to use (ARX or LC) make sure you also use FP.

I did some paging around just now, and found a post by Terry indicating that FP "eats" the carbon and doesn't just break it up like other fuel cleaners.
I guess that answers my question..

Use FP60 with Auto-RX ,LT4play. Completely safe.

True other rancid ( my descriptive but not scientific word) ,reactive solvent fuel additives can cause problems with the softer metals in engines but Auto-RX would actually mitigate that effect.

I have observed no issues with using Auto-RX at the last 1500 miles of a oil drain even if LC was used. It is a safe idea to cease the LC top ups at that point.
