Auto-RX advice needed

My 95 BMW 525i has 114,000 miles. about 85,000 with conventional oil and rest with Mobil 1 0w40 and 5-w40.

What do you recommend regarding Auto_RX treatment. Do you think I need two treatments since I have over 100,000 miles? Also could I just add some Auto-RX to the oil each change to clean?. Some posters seem to have suggested this approach. Just checking as I may order Auto-Rx in a day or so. TIA

I've tried short cutting the instructions. It worked, but not as well as following the full instructions.

Follow the instructions exactly. AR/X works great.

What % of city highway driving do you do? Given you have run synthetic for 29,000 miles, I would be inclined to do one AutoRX application, following the instructions. That means, 1,500 miles clean, 2,000 miles rinse. You could then follow the maintenance dosage instructions.

If you are going to shortcut the instructions, don't bother even starting the AutoRX process.

Steve S & Bobo have it exactly right. Why would you buy a product and listen to some body opinion on how to doctor up a short application? Auto-Rx Guarantee Is Based On Your Satisfaction And We expect you to follow "OUR" Auto-Rx Application.

BTW, the car is a commute car with 2/3 of all miles on the open highway at about 14-16,000 miles per year.

Think I will try Auto-RX per instructions. However, I may try only one bottle per bobo's recomendation since the car has been using synthetic for about 29,000 miles. I can always evaluate after the first bottle and do it again if necessary.

It is cheaper to buy the extra bottle for the second application at the same time. ARX pays the freight on all US orders, plays a large part of the volume discount pricing schedule. A good way to evaluate the need for a second full blown cleaning application is monitor the dino rinse oil after 2000 miles. If its not looking too healthy at 2000 miles, I'd definitly run a second cleaning and rinse. You can always run a maintenance dose with the second bottle and a transmission cleaning.

Russell, continue to use my advise to decide on what the analysis results tell us.

In your situation that lead trend MAY be able to be remedied with the RX treatment/s. As long as fuel dilute is not the primary causal.
