I had a simple question to ask and although I've been a member at the Meguiar's detailing forum for years, it was about another brand so I didn't want to ask there. Registered at the AG forum and they reply, Unfortunately your registration at Auto Geek Online Auto Detailing Forum did not meet our membership requirements. Therefore your registration was deleted. What membership requirements could they possibly have that I didn't meet?

below the three yellow traffic sign diamonds, there is a line about contacting them with a link, if you have problems with registration.

There wasn't any special requirements when I joined several years ago; nor did I see anything in the registration form after reading your post. Could very well just be a glitch of some kind.

Agree must be a glitch. Haven't been on there in years. I'll ask things here if I have a question.

If you want to buy a lot of detailing stuff, it is nice to time your purchase with one of their sales. They often announce them on a banner at the top (or at least did when I used to log in). I have bought some super duper mf towels from them.

It’s hard to say what is going on over there after Tony George with his Vision Investments bought PBMG back in 2016. Palm Beach Motoring Group was the original owner of Autogeek/Autopia.

Latest news I’ve heard is that Mike Phillips is leaving Autogeek and Bob McKee Enterprises is moving back into the old PBMG building as Vision is building a new one elsewhere.

A bit of a soap opera over there.

I've been a member there since 2004. Recently I was unable to post...some weird message popped up. I logged off and tried to log back on but it won't let me. I can't even use the "contact us" to let them know about the problem. I suppose a call to customer service is in order.

With Mike Phillips gone I foresee a downhill slide for the forum.

I thought if you had proof of ownership of a pocket protector, you were in.

Mike hasn't been with Meguiar's for years. He left them for AutoGeek and is now on his own. Hide scratches with fillers? Hardly...he is one of the top detailers in the USA and is highly regarded as a renowned expert in all things related to detailing vehicles.

By the way for those that have no experience whatsoever and no equipment there's nothing wrong with filling marring/swirls to hide them.
