AUTO EXTRA 618-10255 TORE!

This filter was off a 2020 Chevy Silverado at work. Unknown miles but had check engine light that I diagnosed and fixed. Obviously not many miles on filter, BUT it’s TORN🤬🤬🤬

Odometer reading 30,455 and OLM was at 90% so….🤔🤔🤔

Put Safety Kleen 0w20 and another Auto Extra 618-10255 back in and on. I personally would NOT use this filter # or 618-57502 but our company likes using them.

I don't go how well louvers are formed by a "light test", I just look at them. If they don't look well opened to my eyes, it doesn't get bought.

I think it is due to photo quality that we don’t see the louvers clearly. The light trick in the one case I remember showed them open. It also showed that some designs have louvers with top and bottom openings instead of a one way opening.
