does anyone know the origin of the castrol EDGE range of oils we have here?

i phoned the castrol tech help, but they were unable to tell me whether their various oils were domestic or imported. in fact, they were downright unhelpful

the packaging offers no clues, so hopefully someone on this site can help

Typical Castrol. Only a few are real synthetic eg PAO.

Similarly in Europe, Castrol did another wave of rebranding. There used to be RS, TWS MotorSport, SLX LongTec, TXT Softec... now they're all Edge. Go figure.

Well, you could still get Castrol 5w40 European Formula from ebay Australia . Those are parallel import from USA.
