ATF for a Honda Pilot 2005

Talked to the dealer and they highly recommended that I stay with the Honda ATF-Z1 for the 2005 Honda Pilot transmisson.Does any one know if amsoil makes a transmission fluid that is compatible for this vehicle?

Yes, they do.

Amsoil ATF would be a good choice. Also consider Red Line D4 which works very well in Hondas as well. Either way perform a cooler line flush and look into a magnefine inline filter.

Yep, there are several aftermarket ATFs that spec they can be used in Honda ATF-Z1 applications. You also have a filter cartridge on your trans. It's #7 here:

Where is the ATF cooler line? Is it in this diagram?

#14&15 are good candidates. I'm trying to figure out what #6/13 is hooked to given #14 and #15 being such good candidates.

Yes, 14 and 15 are for the cooler circuit. 6 and 13 are just a loop for the filter housing I believe. Parts diagrams call them all "Pipes" for the most part; http://www.slhondaparts.com/browse.asp?M...&ViewParts=true
