Toyo M-55 its even got the holes for studding. I had a set of these in my old woek truck and gave me a good 70k before they were worn down. No experience in snow, did great in sand, water, mud.

If you want good snow performance, best bet is dedicated winter tires, period.

That being said, look for the Severe snow service rating. The Firestone Destination A/T2 carries this, and we used to use a ton of the previous AT on our fleet trucks. They wore nice, were quiet, and worked well in the snow we got here.

The Good Year Wrangler Duratrac's went on this afternoon. My local tire store said they were phenomenal in snow. I think there are a lot of good choice's out there now and this style of tire is forever evolving. We will see how they do in snow soon enough! If necessary, I can still put Bridgestone Blizzak's on the rear. Thank you all for your comments.

Hey keep us posted - I'd be especially interested in knowing how they perform over time. Cab noise? highway tracking? wet/dry grip, etc.!

There is a minimum amount of tire howling at highway speed and I can't help but like it. Too soon to really tell impact on fuel economy. They track fine and there is no vibration. Wet dry grip seems to be pretty good so far.
