I am currently in Asia and my DD for the next 3 months is a 2019 Asian market only Honda Odyssey. I am trying to figure out what the correct tire pressure is for the vehicle. I was under the impression that you increase tire pressure on a loaded vehicle but this chart seems to indicate the opposite.

The chart shows that you increase the tire pressures as the loaded weight increases in the Odyssey. The bottom half of the chart shows equivalent or higher tire pressures when loaded with more passengers and cargo. Focus on the last numbers for PSI values.

1) The word "Max" on the top half of the chart doesn't mean the vehicle at maximum load?
2) The top half chart indicates that with 3 people + cargo below the speed of 160 km/h, pressure is Front 32 psi and Rear 32 psi. But the bottom half of the chart says with 5 people or 2 people + cargo at the same speed, pressure is Front 32 psi and Rear 36 psi. Am I not reading it correctly?

No, it refers to the two displayed weight categories (i.e., max. load of 3 people w/ luggage or max. load of 7 people w/ luggage).

No, the bottom half of the chart shows 7 people + cargo.

I am so embarrassed, that makes a lot more sense. Thanks!!!

you up the rear tyre pressure on a fully loaded vehicle

It's a combination of load and speed and a grid....then the diagram of the vehicle faces the left, so the left is front, right is rear. Interesting is that with max load and lower speeds, the front is higher than the rear. If in doubt just go 41/36 R/F and keep the foot on the accelerator as much as possible

First column is about the load.
Second column is sub-divided for the speed (up to, or over, 160 km/hr (which is stupid; who's going over 100mph in a minivan?)
Third column is for the front-tire pressure in kPa, bar, and psi
Fourth column is for the rear-tire pressure in kPa, bar, and psi
Fifth column is the spare tire.

Example:
fully loaded to max, going 175 km/h ... 36 psi in front and 41 psi in back
