Very long article on the latest military conflict between India and Pakistan. If one has the time and desire to read, intriguing insight by the author of what occured during the conflict, and how the actions may shape future conflicts between the two nations.

I found the article very interesting.

Hello GON, thanks for sharing the article. I don’t know the history of India or Pakistani very well, so this article was a good primer for further research on my part.

They've had a very rocky relationship, particularly over the Kashmir region. Skirmishes like we've just seen is common.

USA working/allied with Pakistan despite knowing they're a terrorist state and harbored Osama is laughable.

Thanks @frankbee3 . One might start better understanding the situation between India and Pakistan, by studying the effects of an essentially bankrupt England immediately following WWII. Had England had its finances in good standing post WWII, the situation today between India and Pakistan might not have ever been.

I think there is another factor also contributing to this internecine squabble which predates British intervention. It has to do with a subject that is verboten by the rules here. Their national flags provide a hint.

Years ago, India wanted to have a nuclear war with Pakistan. Colin Powell asked India, why do you want to start a nuclear war with Pakisran. India said, because they kill hundreds of our citizens every year. Colin Powell said, in a nuclear war, the death will be in the Millions on both sides. They asked if he was serious, and he said, yes, that is what will happen in nuclear war. India then said they don't want a nuclear war.

The interesting thing is that India and China are in the BRICS, Pakistan and China have close relationship and we are are using India to provoke a conflict and involve China.

Geopolitics is sometimes strange.

I highly doubt that is for real. As much as people with propaganda wants you to believe, most power in power are not stupid or they won't last long. A lot of what politicians and smear campaigns want you to believe something that is emotionally charged but when too much is at stake, they will always have some back-channel talk and negotiations.

It is also funny that up in some contested Himalaya region between China and India, both sides decided to only allow cold weapons between their border militaries, so in case poop hit the fan they can't escalate too far, just clubing and hacking each other to death.

This is absurd, 20 years ago I remember doing I&W for the US military and they have recognized for years that Pakistan is the most likely country to use a nuclear weapon in the event of a military conflict. India has every advantage in terms of military hardware and manpower to overwhelm Pakistan without needing to deploy nuclear weapons except in retaliation.

The extent to which those in the west have been conditioned to buy into and spread propagandist nonsense is disturbing.
