Bought a 1/2 gallon from Walmart for about $5. At the recommended dosage, the soap does not feel very slick and the suds are fairly weak. In comparison, Turtle Wax ICE was far superior in both lubricity and suds...but it is also twice the price.

So, I'd avoid this product if you are looking for a higher quality car wash.

Walmart quality? Meeting a price point?

Judging by most of the cars at Walmart, most folks wouldnt care...

How did it actually clean, though? Suds do not necessarily equal cleaning ability.

Lubrication is quite important since that will affect whether you can get the dirt off without putting more swirls in the paint. Cleaning is similar to any other soap.

$6 shipped for some Duragloss shampoo. Enter "freeship" on autogeek in promo area when ordering. Great lubricity and nice sheeting when rinsing.

This is all I use, great suds and cleaning, leaves the finish smooth and slick

Well, I certainly can't argue against more lubricity. Personally, I prefer to have reasonable lubricity and as little suds as possible.
