I have this battery on the lawn tractor we use on the community ball diamond. If I need to replace it, are there any other brands the Bitigogers would suggest? Right now I’m topping up the charge and will store it in the warmth for the winter.
I have switched from Costco Batteries to Walmart batteries better batteries and better warranties on their more expensive batteries.I've been using a cheap walmart everstart for almost 4 years now. Seems to still be good as new.
My D140 came with a JD branded 195 CCA battery in 2015. At the start of the 2019 mowing season that battery was so weak that I could jump start it but it wouldn't engage the PTO clutch. I replaced that with the Walmart brand 230 CCA U1 battery with a date code of 3/19 in April 2019 at a cost of 29 USD. That battery now needs a few minutes on the charger before it can start the unit but it has no trouble whatsoever engaging the PTO. Deere batteries are West Penn manufactured. From what I've read, West Penn is one of the best/last US manufactured batteries.
If ya'll think lawn mower batteries are expensive: try purchasing two 1000+ CCA batteries for a combine @ $350+ each!

Nothing wrong with the Deere batteries, but I wouldn't pay more for them than a comparable one.
