Are all 5-speed Honda/Acura automatics predoomed to a failure???

It wasn't in a service news bulletin, but in a diagnostic procedure for transmission problems. It stated that discolored fluid was not indicative of any transmission problem.

Also, AcuraTech posted a while back (or told me in a PM, I don't remember) that during his Acura training, they were told that brown fluid is perfectly normal and is not of any concern.

Yeah, brown fluid is NOT a concern as long as vehicle IS under warranty. Everyone else should worry.
