Just like the title says. Any real life experience with this product? I'm asking because the [censored] oil filter on my car is located right above the axle boot and it drips all over it every time I change the oil.

Thanks!

Not me, personally, but maybe i'd consider it if it were available in-stores.

My local Walmart has a "similar" funnel, it's made by "Flo-Tool" and it's just called a "Tight Spot funnel" - it's a rubbery/plastic material, that is quite pliable/bendable/maneuverable, and yea, It works great for mine as well, I'm in the same predicament, only not with the axle boot, mine drains all over the wiring/vacuum/cooling lines on the front of the engines (mounted horizonally to the block, accessed from the top-end of the engine).

I bought a form a funnel for the exact same reason, removing the filter on our Pilot. It works great. It's nice to be able to bend it right where you need it. The funnel seems well made and from all indications, I'll have it for a very long time.

I always just use a chunk of aluminum foil, and wrap it around whatever part that might get oily, and shape it into a funnel to point it towards the oil pan.

Cheaper too, I think.

BC.

I've been using the Form-A-Funnel for my PITA to oil change vehicles. It's been great also for changing oil in various outdoor power equipment. Heck, I've even used it in doing various plumbing repairs.

Has anyone found the form-a-funnel in the national auto parts stores? Didn't see them around me.

Napa stores have them, but you have to ask for them since they are usually behind the counter.
