Anyone use DHEA when working out?

Only leg workouts I usually do are biking and running.

You may want to reconsider that. Those are cardio activities...not the best at building muscle. You will most likely show an imbalance (although that imbalance is a popular "look" today - but not as popular as bone arsed skinny).

Adding just squats, deadlift, and hamstring curls will help round out your physique, give you balance, more strength for those activities you enjoy, protect from injury, and even boost test. as well as strengthen your bone structure.

Friend of mine swears creatine causes hair loss. Imo nothing “causes” it. You either have it or you don’t.

There are things you can take to cause hair loss...creatine is not one of them.

Your body makes creatine
Eating meat is your best source of natural creatine

I believe you are more apt to hair loss due to being a vegetarian and not getting enough protein as compared to supplementing with creatine.

DHEA is something to not mess around with unless you have a specific purpose for it.

I would look into NMN. (Nicotinamide Mono Nucleotide). That has a lot of benefits especially in exercise endurance.

Any research, evidence why (not to mess with it)? From most papers I have read it does raise DHEA in the blood stream, but results in little more than anecdotal effects overall in the body...especially in "trained males".

I'd be careful taking ANY supplements outside of what your Dr. prescribes if I was old. There are probably plenty that may benefit at the recommended dose, but taking at 200-2000% will likely only give your wallet and your kidneys (or liver) a workout.
What the Dr prescribes is just as bad.

Sorry but if your not weight training your entire body, your severely unbalanced.

Throw some weight on those barbells, hack squat machines, etc.

All the guys I know who went bald had bald fathers. They tried every scalp serum and expensive hair grow shampoo on the market. None of that crap worked for them. My dad kept all his hair as well as his dad and so on. I’m 53 and still have all of my hair.

My main purpose of working out isn’t to bulk up, but to stay fit and lean, especially the older I get. I see plenty of guys my age who are skinny, but have a belly and are flabby with no muscle. The running and biking keep my legs rock hard;)

Yeah, I know how guys typically workout at our gyms. I outwork them like night and day at the gym. It's always funny how, nobody is doing the leg equipment, hack squat, tiger squat, barbells, trap bars etc. but already using the free weights for arms and chest 🤣

Unbalanced every time in every situation.
