I saw where a fellow was saying he wouldn't use it due to it's high level of viscosity index improvers.I'd have no reason to believe it wouldn't be a good oil.
I'm pretty certain that Chickanic lauds using ECHO Red Armor 2 cycle oil, not RedLine.Chickanic on Youtube swears by it, and she's forgotten more about 2 cycle engines than I'll ever know.
It's likely due to its base oil not added vii. Also I can't find the typical characteristics of it so I can't say what the vi is. And with it being 108 for a gallon I'd rather buy amsoil saber. But it's phenomenal 2 cycle oil there's no arguing that.I saw where a fellow was saying he wouldn't use it due to it's high level of viscosity index improvers.
I totally misread the title of this post. OopsieI'm pretty certain that Chickanic lauds using ECHO Red Armor 2 cycle oil, not RedLine...
I like Saber, VP, Red Armor, and HP2. But.... looking for that very best oil that lubes well and is clean as a whistle. Thanks. It's likely due to its base oil not added vii. I used this:
https://www.redlineoil.com/two-stroke-racing-oil
in my 1992 Yamaha WR250, 2005 Gas Gas EC250 and 2005 KDX220, I thought it was excellent. Top end wear was no worse than other oils I used (Opti and Yamalube R) in various years with these bikes, in fact the last bike I used it in I never rebuilt the top end. I ran 50:1, really clean silencers on all the bikes and barely any smoke. I am too old (and fat) to dirt bike now but I sometimes think about getting back into it and if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to use it again. I also was a big fan of their fork oils.
Red line has been very aggressive on the quality of their products.I saw where a fellow was saying he wouldn't use it due to it's high level of viscosity index improvers.

lol at the fat part, I've lost 40 pounds just by laying off processed sugar... nearly everything has added sugar.. to start I ate dried fruit from Costco and eventually got tired of it ... also flour tortillas instead if other bread... it's a long process... I am not a religious freak at all but I decided to take the plunge on a partial fast ... it wasn't easy but I'll never go back.. Made my lawn equipment seem heavier for sure, but worth it.I used this:
