Anyone running Large A/T tires that are "quiet"

DT is always like that. Costco on the other hand, which I prefer over DT, bcs. usually, tires are fresh, is very adamant about size. They did not want to install 265/60 R18 on my Atlas bcs. originals were 255/50R20.
I had to order these bcs I wanted to stick with C for the road manners - they are basically F150 Raptor tires …

I am also contemplating C load once I get new set.
What is your experience with GY Adventure?
Had an early version of them on a GMC - did 59k and they were getting a bit chewed by frequent gravel roads … Good tire though … Was near time to trade so bought a cheaper General

They are few in 275/65 R18 with C1 load. $227 a piece, which is a steal in that size for a major manufacturer.

I have 275/65/20 Cooper AT3 XLTs E-rated tires on my F150. I like them. Not noisy at all, good ride. Good enough off road and snow traction without compromising ride quality. Very good tread wear so far.

Lotta people raving that the Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws are the best thing out there right now.

I found this video with the same tire that shows the noise. He keeps saying they're quiet but I think our definitions are different. Skip to 2:30 for the drive:

Another issue with these tires is they have a slight vibration at highway speeds. I might try to balance them and get a few miles at least.

No tire that aggressive will be quiet. I’ve had a lot of RT and MT truck tires and quiet they are not. Those actually remind me of a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers I had a few years ago. Once they were half worn out they were very loud.

Sold my 20” wheels with Bridgestone Dualer H/L (275/55 R20).
Got these on Facebook, 18”. Really good wheels. No scratches whatsoever. On them Michelin Defender LTX M/S 275/65 R18. Still have 7/32. Will wear them out this summer and get something new next year.
Still keeping my snow set next two weeks.

I recommended the Firestone Destination AT2 for a friend. He wanted a AT tire with a 3PMSF rating but didn’t want to spend coin on Wildpeaks. KO2/3 was out of the question. He likes them.

IMHO, if his Tundra wasn’t a “off-road” package, he would have been much better off with the Michelin X LT 2(Defender LTX 2) or Destination LE3. 99% of the time the truck is on pavement.

Finally got around to taking the truck to discount for a road force. They are worse than I thought; 2/4 showed force readings above 90!! They other 2 were 72 and 54. They did what they could. Still have to take it on the highway and will update if there's improvement.

Just another PSA: Stay away from Predator New Mutants 😁

Predator tires are pretty awful. Check out STW Direct on TikTok. Smitty says stay away from Predator tires.
