What is this "snow" thing that you speak of?

What year Fit does your coworker have? Thanks

2007 or 2008, I can't remember which, but yeah his condenser looks like it has double or triple the miles the car does. My advice would be to put up some sort of mesh screen between the grille and the condenser to catch debris and let it fall but still allow airflow.

We get to experience all 4 seasons up here, it adds variety to life to avoid "Groundhog Day" of weather monotony.

Thanks . The 2011 has vehicle stability assist and traction control which should help out . Plan to get four non stud snow tires as well , possibly the BLIZZAK WS 60s. The '07 or '08 base model FIT weren't eqiuipped with V.S.A. or T.C.. Maybe the SPORT was .

Our Fit on snow tires is a little tank. It'll out-do most other cars without snow tires. Driving it without snow tires is a nightmare, however. The 63% front weight distribution means the rear end will rotate incredibly easily around the front wheels. In the one late-season snowstorm we drove it through without snows on, it was going down the interstate sideways at any speed above a crawl.

Sciphi what snow tires do you use? I have the base model and the choices are slim. I think I will probably buy the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60's. Have the Blizzak WS-70's on our 2008 Yaris sedan. They are good tires. Hopefully the WS-60's are as good.

Thanks

We have some Blizzak LM-25's. Those were discontinued the month after we purchased ours.

The only option in the OEM size on TireRack right now is the Blizzak WS-60.

From what I've heard, the WS-60 is a step down performance-wise from the WS-70.
