The railroad is amazing!!!
I love watching the EMD SD70ACe locos pulling heavy loads! I have spent many hours filming trains in many places, I find it relaxing.

They renovated last year and I have not been back since. I will try to find the name and address. A lot of food at a low price. It's a small house converted to a restaurant.

Martinez is a nice old town. There is a Marina that has a nice walk along the water. There is a really good Italian place (Bertola's) to eat in Martinez. At least it was good several years ago. They renovated last year and I have not been back since. I will try to find the name and address. A lot of food at a low price. It's a small house converted to a restaurant.

Another place you might want to eat is Buffet City in Concord. It is a few miles from Martinez, depending on where you are in Martinez. Low price with good food. I eat here a lot.

Since you are up here and work for/at the railroad, you might be interested in visiting the California Railroad Museum. It is in old Sacramento. You can take the Amtrak Train from Martinez to Old Sacramento. I think it costs around $40 round trip. The Meseum is worth the visit.
