There used to be a thread where someone did a used oil analysis of Lucas Oil Stabilizer, and also a VOA of just straight LOS. I searched, but can't find it. I don't know if it is because of the server change or what.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm going to continue looking for it. If I find it, I'll post here.

That's the one I remember.
Not to drum up old arguments, but according to the VOA it didn't appear to do anything other than increase viscosity.
I'm definitely no expert but I don't think UOA and VOA tell you the whole story.
These analysis don't show things like tackifiers or friction modifiers do they?

PERFECT. That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks!! I was looking for it to show some people the used oil analysis and VOA's of this stuff. Just trying to show a few more people that this is nothing but an oil thickener, and dilutes your addpack.

Thanks, again.

You're correct in that assumption that the VOA doesn't tell the whole story. But everyone with real knowledge of the stuff on here such as Bruce381 has said it seems to be nothing but Group I brightstock petroleum.

And how was that determined?
Did he or someone do a more in depth analysis of this product?
Or is there some "inside" information that was learned somehow.
I'm not disputing anything just wondering how that was determined.
