Anyone know anything about this oil additive?

I came across an engine oil additive called "Swepco Oil Improver 502".

Its main job is to reduce hydraulic tappet noise. One bottle, 16 oz., treats about 5 quarts of oil. It does not have any Teflon in it.

It is supposed to prevent oxidation, sludging, and corrosion in engines, as well.

Has anyone heard of this stuff, or used it?
Any information?

reduce hydraulic tappet noise? Assuming that you are having hydraulic lifter problems then it's very likely that either (a) it comes with boatloads of detergents that HDEO or XD-3 already has, or it's simply solvent based.

I don't see any anti-oxidation properties if it's solvent-based.

It says solvents, not detergents; there is a big difference. Irregardless, it can still have organic anti-oxidants in it.

How would this stuff, the Swepco 502, compare to GM E.O.S. or the Valvoline Synpower Oil Treatment (15 oz. gray bottle), or the Valvoline MaxLife Engine Protector (15 oz. red bottle)?

Which would be better as an oil additive/supplement to help out your engine?

Anything negative about the Swepco 502?
