Anyone having issues with outlook.com (aka hotmail) on Mac OS 15.0 Sequoia?

Got an email the other day that outlook is implementing additional security. Third party applications may experience problems.
Not sure of a solution, but I'm not switching to Microsoft as a result, that's for sure.
Currently, UBUNTU, no issues. Nor on my Android phone.

I get the OP uses outlook aka hotmail just for email. We have a number of accounts, my wife also have a corporate account (unrelated to this post but thought I would mention)
Anyway, our standard home free outlook accounts and @live accounts have become a PITA.
Clunky at times and pushing you to their main page, stuff like that, Hey it's their service and free to do what they want. I also have many proton mail accounts and to my surprise my wife wants me to move her to them too. Clean, simple and free but I also have a pay account with them.
SO bottom line is I am moving everything out of outlook. It's quite a task but its time to consolidate and simplify and at the same time move to a superior (for us) platform.

To confirm, OP: Are you using a web browser to access outlook.com or are you using a Mail application installed locally on the Mac?

It's also a plus subscription with no ads and such, is a secondary e-mail and thus i do not want to add it to mail on my mac. It does work fine in the outlook app on my phone.
It is quite unlikely, then, to be an actual email issue: It's just a fancy web page whose contents are partially failing. My first instinct is to ask about any changes you might have made to your browser; i.e. installed a new ad- or script-blocker. My next guess would be that they were having a temporary hiccup *as a web service* and just wait for a moment. But if the issue persists beyond a few hours then I'd clear out whatever cache and cookies I have stored for that web site. I'd maybe try logging in from an Incognito window or alternate browser to confirm that it's a cookie or caching issue with my browser.

People are experiencing issues with 15.0's firewall, affecting things like VPNs, AV software and other network-related issues. Even just loading webpages in Safari or other browsers has been problematic for some.

I assume this is in Safari? If so, try another browser, that should be step 1.
It is safari. I’ll try again but I think it’s worse on Firefox… lot of buttons on Firefox are broken on webpages.
Just thought of you ^^ Sonoma 14.6 AS previously posted free version has become clunky on the Mac Desktop. App works fine. I started my move to proton mail which I also use anyway. I only used outlook and msn for email anyway.
Anyway, been changing stuff to proton and just tried to log into outlook email, page didnt load and white screen AGAIN.
Hit back button, re-enter password and it will work. I dont get it but you are not alone.
