Anyone? My friends think I'm odd because I use bar soap. They question my sanity because I use vintage Gillette safety razors. And even more crazy I use Barbasol for everyday shaving. But I do have some good old fashion shaving creams and soaps.
Well in the day of body wash in all sorts of scents from girly to RAWMANPOWER! I found not many people I know use bar soap anymore. I have sensitive skin so I can't used many of the 'new' body washes.
Yes, in that sense I am old school (still uses bar soap instead of liquid body wash, mainly due to the hatred for sodium laureth sulphate, which makes my skin slimy).
While I do not have the time to do the manual shaving (been a braun shaver since my teens, hated Philips/Norelco circular blades), I would do that occasionally using a Schick blade.
I've been driving sticks since 17yrs old, does that by default, makes me old school?
Pager, bar soap, no texting, manual windows n locks, standard trans, 30/40wt summer 20wt winter, heck i have fuel oil as primary heat and demestic water (been burning farm diesel).

Our whole life is old school - too much to list about what we do old school. I think my cars are pretty modern because they have computers, but my bike is certainly old school.
I shoot traditional flintlock, real blackpowder guns w/ patched roundballs. None of that inline fake black powder substitue with a scope junk. Oh yeah, bar soap, none of this girly squirt bottle baby soap on this MAN.
I shave with a mug and brush and use a Gillette Trac II handle with off brand blades from the grocery. Up until 2.5 years ago, I still used a TV antenna, no cable. After I moved, I went out of range and now have the minimum cable package.
And I still have a checking account and use cash to make purchases.
I'm mostly old school but a use an electric shaver, but most everything else is old habits learned decades ago.A "smart" cellphone is one of the few exceptions.
we like in a 120yo Victorian home, have a cassette player in my 20yo camry, have friction shifting on my steel bicycle, and still use a film camera sometimes.
some of my 'new' stuff is old too; my digital camera is 10yrs old, my DVD player is 8yrs old, I listen to CD's, and don't have a mp3 player.
I have a 44yo Toro snowblower that needs to be rebuilt. my Dad bought it the year before I was born and used it for many years. REALLY want to get that running again.
