I dunno, partnering with NATO and Turkey to enforce a no fly zone over Syria. What is the big deal? Syrians have no oil. If Iranians get fussy, put them on double secret probation

Ehh... If anything I see a few of their APC's and Tanks mysteriously blowing up when loaded down with gear and troops.

No reason to commit to some huge military action when you can strike with a Predator or other UAV with cost effectiveness and precision.

Besides if that government crumbles it will only be replaced by another puppet.

"Who's puppet?" Will be the question.
Saudi, USA, Iran, or an Al Queso like branch...
