I’ve ordered my last two sets for both cars from Amazon. Had them delivered to local tire place (Mavis). They mount and balance for $15.99 apiece. Fresh production dates. Zero problems. For how and where I drive they seem to fit the bill. YMMV.
They no longer sell tires. Shame too, decent prices.
Even if you read carefully, they sent 2 and 3 years old tires. That's what I got a couple days ago. No more trust. They were not stated from those years. This is their descriptions: Tire Vredestein Pinza HT 245/55R19 103H AS A/S All Season.I always buy tires on walmart.com. The only problem I ever had was that I missed, or the ad didn't state, that a pair of tires I bought were directional. So read everything very carefully.
Stopped going to WalMart for mounting and balancing after one of their tire people massively overtorqued my wheel nuts. Bought tire tools and now I do them myself.
haven't yet but wouldn't be opposed to it. I like the many choices available under $400 for 4 tires shipped to my doorstep.Anyone buy tires from Amazon ?
Did you get the tires shipped directly to your local tire shop ?
Are these tires from manufacture or a tire distributor ?
Shame, I've bought probably a dozen sets over the years.Amazon still sells tires as of today (see example below). However, they no longer sell to customers in Alaska or Hawaii due to shipping issues/costs.

Were these from amazon or Walmart? I've bought many from Walmart and all were fresh dates. Never bought any from amazon. I don't buy anything from amazon anyway.Even if you read carefully, they sent 2 and 3 years old tires. That's what I got a couple days ago. No more trust. They were not stated from those years. They certainly carry some tires I've never heard of before. Cosmo MuchoMacho? Some of the tires they sell are grey market.
Case in point is these Goodyears as you wont find them on the USA website:
