Anyone Black-Out white letters on tires?

I ordered a set of Bridgestone tires that have white lettering on the side, anyone use anything that blacks out the lettering?

The other side is black, just have the tire installer mount the white letters on the inside.

You could be right and thats what I was originally thinking but I called bridgestone and was told they aren't designed to be mounted that way

That tread is not directional or assymetric. Running with the blackwalls out is fine.

It sounds like you talked to someone who has no clue about the product they represent.

I recall when white-wall tires were in fashion and we'd mount them so the white-wall was inside. Those white-walls didn't stay white for long.

They can be mounted with the white wall inside. Whoever you talked too is wrong.

If I don't like the lettering, I have the new tires installed with them facing in.

This is true; when I switched rims on my truck, I decided to keep the OE tires since they were nearly new.

The tire shop (DT) just mounted the white letter side to be on the inner side of the truck. Easy peasy.
