I would think the Ford products you mentioned would be a different driving experience and in a good way. My only 3cyl passenger car experience would be with a Subaru Justy 3cyl 4x4, 5spd and some 3cyl automatic Geo/Suzuki products from back in the day. They scooted along quite well.
