Any thoughts on this Seiko watch?

That's good, because it means this watch will get wound faster compared to one that winds only in one direction. I think you should hold off buying a watch winder, because you likely won't need it as long as you wear the watch for a few hours every day.

That's the problem. Ever since I started working from home, I practically don't wear a watch at all. I only wear it on weekends whenever I go out.

Then get a quartz watch, preferably a solar powered one to avoid battery changes. An electro-mechanical hybrid (kinetic) watch would work, too. You have to wear those only once every few months to keep them going.

By the way, some watches, be they handwound, automatic, or kinetic, have a power reserve display.

mori, we're spinning in circles here. :) I've searched for watches for months. This Seiko is the only watch that I was able to find that meets my criteria: looks, size, and price. It just unfortunately happens to be automatic - I'll have to deal with it.

I can't help you!

You're welcome. Let me know what watch winder you get, and also how you like it. I may need one myself, because I'm running out of arms here.
