I ran some Honda Genuine Full Syn which is CP. It was a serviceable oil but nothing special. Went back to TGMO for 0W-20.

Nope, we don't have any Orschelns. That link just ended up bringing me to a product overview page. I seem to remember looking for a distributor on their site before and seeing nothing around here.

None in the state of Michigan.

Come down to Indiana when Orscheln Farm is running their quarterly $1.99 a QT sale on Trop Artic. At that price if you live within a couple of hours of Indiana you could come pick up a 100-Qts to last you a few years. I generally buy about 24 qts a couple times a year. It's great oil.

That's not a bad idea... then I can visit one of the Quaker Steak & Lubes you guys have down there since ours closed unexpectedly last year. Road trip!

I use TropArtic in most of my vehicles. I buy it at Oresheln's when it's $1.99 a quart and just bought three cases of it recently. I like the oil and have had no problems in the year and a half I have been using it. I also use Motorcraft in the Mustang.

I've used the Kendall GT 1 for years. Your local Firestone
store has it in bulk. Coupons available all the time on their website for oil changes. Great oil with a proud tradition. The GT1 as well as the full syn are now DEXOS approved as well.

Yeah, I cleaned out the Autozone near me when they had the M1 0W30 and 0W20 on sale. Kendall was down to $2.25 so I grabbed the last 19 quarts in 5w30 syn blend they had

I've used Kendall GT-1 full syn in the Miata a few years ago for a few changes. It seemed like very good oil at the time and I would use it again if a ready supply of GC was to dry up.

...and assuming I could find it somewhere...

Crazyoildude; you could try Petroleum Service Company in PA also, or call them and see what shipping would be for you ;0)
