Hi guys, wondering if its ok to use high pressure fuel line for oil supply. I'm playing with a setup on our Subaru, and am looking at using 1/4ID HP fuel line. I feel like if it handles fuel it should handle oil being petroleum products, and the pressure is far higher than what It would see.

I personally would use hydraulic hose with crimped ends or reusable type hose with threaded connections.
Agree. There are various grades of hydraulic hose, need to consider the design conditions. i had to get some very special Parker hose for my oil cooler line refurbishment.

Thanks very much guys. I have a local hydraulic shop that's been excellent to work with. Im going to visit them today for some odds and ends, and will pick up some hydraulic hose.....I had also thought about going with AN fittings, but it seems to add more seams and joints than doing it this way for little benefit.
