Any insight on 2024 Toyota Tacoma transmission failing?

Takes less than 15 minutes to remove. Easy-peasy...

I assumed it was probably a few plastic clips/screws. But man, it's awful looking. Definitely a truck built for city streets in a region with zero snow. Anywhere in North America above the middle of the US and you just bought a snow plow if you don't remove it.
