Anti-drainback and oil pressure light?

I actually owned one of these vans, for about 200k miles, sold it in '96. I had what you describe happen twice. On both occasions, I swapped out the filter, and the problem was rectified. One was an OCD, the other a Purolator. Just a problem with QC, with individual filters. Spending a bit more on a Wix or a OEM filter would probably make it less likely.
