Apparently I've bragged one time too many on the original NGK plug in my '04 Honda, it's done, 2016 ain't happnin'..

Got mower out yesterday to cut ankle deep grass(been mild & wet here), about half through front it started sputtering and coughing back in the carb... Hummm sounds like ignition, hope I'll be able to finish here in front I thought... Well a couple minutes later it sputtered to a stop, cranked up OK, ran fine maybe a minute and sputtered to another stop... Couple cranks produced nothing, well [censored]... So I walk out back and pull a used Autolite that was in my old T-Bird 5.0 and screwed it into place... Started right up, mowed remaining front and all the back without issue... Come spring I'll get a new plug...

So the OEM plugs last your 12 summers.

Why are you mowing your lawn in January?

Uh it's still hot like summer in many parts of the country. My yard is still green and lush.

Been mowers running all over the neighborhood the last few days... Neighbor across street cut his yesterday as well and approx every two weeks prior since Oct... I last cut around Thanksgiving, wasn't planning on cutting again before spring...
