Looks like it will reach 104 deg F in Phoenix today. I believe the record is 101 for this day in October. Get the hot dogs out.
Looks like it will reach 104 deg F in Phoenix today......
Phoenix to Vegas is 300 miles. I’ll go with the Phoenix forecast.I doubt it. We're usually 3 to 5 degrees hotter here, and we barely broke 100 yesterday. And they're predicting the same today. They always like to overpredict if they think we're getting near any type of record.

Usually yes, in my experience it’s quite accurate. Is a temperature measured over sand and rock at an airport truly reflective of the city temperature ?
Done and done. It’s a new record for October19. Phoenix hit 104F at the airport today, just shortly before 3 PM.It's not the Vegas forecast. It's Lake Havasu. About 140 miles as the crow flies.
...... However today it only got to 98 at my house.
